Ivan Perisic talked to Ryan Sessegnon about Kyle Walker-Peters before the Spurs game.
Steven Bergwijn (Ajax)
Steven Bergwijn lined up on the left-hand side of the front three for the Eredivisie opener at Fortuna Sittard, after joining the club on a 26.4 million euro deal.
The hosts broke to open the scoring through Paul Gladon after the 24-year-old coughed up possession in the middle of the park.

The men were introduced and one of them, Brian Brobbey, scored a goal to help the team get back in it.
Bergwijn’s strike was ruled out by the VAR for being in an area that was not in use.
Bergwijn was replaced by Mohammed Kudus in the first minute of injury time as the clock ran down on the game.
Cameron Carter-Vickers (Celtic)
The loan deal with the Scottish champion was made permanent in the summer and Carter-Vickers again produced a consistent display for the Bhoys in the win at Ross County.
When County took the initiative, a mazy run into the box almost led to a goal, one of a couple of forwards drives from the American.
Jack Clarke (Sunderland)
In July, he signed a four-year deal with the Championship side and lined up against Bristol City in a wing-back role.
The youngster had a quiet first half, although he did clear a Chris Martin shot off the line to prevent hosts City going 3-1 up just past the half- hour mark.
He was much more involved on the flank in the second half, helping the Black Cats fight back to win.
Joe Rodon (Rennes)
Rodon made his Ligue 1 debut at the back for Rennes in their Brittany derby at home to Lorient after joining on a season long loan deal.
Rennes dominated most of the game, but it wasn’t enough as the hosts lost by a single goal. Arthur Theate, a debutant, scored an own goal.
Pierluigi Gollini (Atalanta)
After joining on a season-long loan deal, Gollini didn’t make an appearance for Spurs and was out in the cold on the weekend. Atalanta were beaten by Valencia in the Trofeu Taronja season curtain-raiser, with Juan Musso taking the goalkeeping duties and Marco Sportiello the preferred back-up.
This is the next story.
